The reason is the soybean content. Bonsoy uses a minimum of 14% whole certified organic soybeans - most commercial soy milks use far less. Job's Tears (hato mugi) is a traditional Japanese grain that Bonsoy has included since its original recipe - it's part of what gives Bonsoy its distinctive smooth, subtly mellow flavour that sets it apart from other soy milks.
